Objetivos do Curso

Contribute to the development of society by preparing managers who, based on fundamental and advanced knowledge of management, develop the most appropriate strategies and practices to enhance the effectiveness of healthcare service organisations;

Develop research, innovation, and entrepreneurship skills in healthcare service management;

Foster competencies that enable lifelong, self-directed, or autonomous learning in the context of healthcare service management.

Condições de Acesso e Ingresso

According to point (f) of Article 3 of Decree-Law No. 74/2006, of 24 March (as amended by Decree-Law No. 65/2018, of 16 August), the admission requirements are as follows:

Holders of a bachelor's degree or legally equivalent qualification;

Holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded upon completion of a first cycle of studies, organised in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a state that is a signatory to this Process;

Holders of a foreign higher academic degree recognised in Portugal under the terms of Decree-Law No. 283/83, of 21 June, Decree-Law No. 341/2007, of 12 October, and Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of 16 August.

Investigate specific healthcare management issues, proposing innovative solutions based on scientific knowledge, methodological rigour, and practical applicability;

Place the patient at the centre of organisational activity, considering the complexity of their condition, including their experience, safety, and clinical effectiveness;
