Operational Objectives

  • Optimize access to information related to the labor market.
  • Enhance access to potential employer organizations/companies.
  • Promote students' knowledge regarding the formulation of applications for entry into the job market.
  • Promote entry into the job market.


Activities:

  • Sending job offers received by ESSNorteCVP to alumni via mailing;
  • Carrying out workshops on: preparation of curriculum vitae, preparation for job interviews and professional integration, ethics;
  • Carrying out a job showcase aimed at final year students;
  • Assessment of the employability of students graduating from the 1st and 2nd Cycle of Studies.

 

Professional orientation

Goal:
Support decision-making regarding the academic and professional path, through the use of tools for an effective job search, preparing for entry into active life.

 Mediation with Employers

Goal:
Develop initiatives that promote closer contact between the ESSNorteCVP population and employers, namely:
- Promotion of job sites;
- Creation and management of groups of volunteer students, who can develop projects and collaborate directly with potentially employing entities.

Assessment of Satisfaction and Employability

Goal:
To understand and characterize the employability of ESSNorteCVP alumni after the end of the Degree Courses.
 Know the impact of 2nd Cycle Studies training on professionals.
It is concluded that:
- ESSNorteCVP Graduates have a high level of satisfaction with the training received, offering the possibility of returning to training at school;
- A high percentage of employability in the area in which they obtained their qualification;
- A large number of students obtain employment within a period of less than a year after completing their studies.
