Objetivos do Curso

As a result of technological development and growing specialization in the health area, digestive endoscopy nursing is assumed to be an area that involves specific competences of advanced and qualified nursing, integrated in a multidisciplinary team.

In this context, nursing practice in digestive endoscopy is crucial to ensure effective and integral support to the person, at any stage of the life cycle, family and community, in management of complex disease processes and prevention. It constitutes an effective component for obtaining health gains, namely the reduction in the mortality rate and Morbidity. It is intended that this course be an important contribution, that in an integrated and integrative perspective and inserted in a process of development and professional valorization.

The Graduate Course in Digestive Endoscopy Nursing aims to contribute to the development of skills of nurses whose professional practice takes place in

Gastroenterology/Digestive Endoscopy Units.

O Curso de Pós-Graduação em Enfermagem de Endoscopia Digestiva tem como finalidade contribuir para a valorização e diferenciação profissional, assim como o desenvolvimento de competência acrescida diferenciada dos enfermeiros cujo exercício profissional ocorre nas Unidades de Gastroenterologia/Endoscopia Digestiva.

Objetivos de Aprendizagem e competências a Desenvolver

- Exercise a professional practice in digestive endoscopy nursing, in accordance with the legal norms, the ethical and deontological principles of the nursing profession;

- Manage highly complex nursing care in digestive endoscopy/gastroenterology services;

- Acting in a multidisciplinary context, in order to promote and guarantee quality, comprehensive and timely care;

- Integrate the best scientific evidence into the process of performance in digestive endoscopy nursing;

- Make decisions adjusted to the real needs of customers of digestive endoscopy/gastroenterology services;

- Advocate the safety as a critical factor in digestive endoscopy nursing practice.
