The completion of the dissertation is predominantly based on the individual work of the student, which will be
supervised by a professor with a doctoral degree or a specialist with recognized experience and professional
competence. The work meetings for the orientation will be defined between them according to the development of the
process. Seminars will be held in which each student presents, in plenary, the development of the investigative process
and identifies, for analysis and group discussion, the potential, constraints and main sources of difficulty in the
process.
The dissertation will be object of appreciation and public discussion, before a jury composed of three elements,
including the supervisor, in accordance with the Regulation of the 2nd cycle of studies of Master's Courses. The
evaluation of the UC results from the deliberation of the jury, expressed in a score from 0 to 20 points. If you do not get
approval, you will have to repeat the curricular unit.
