The teaching methodologies are based on a theoretical and theoretical-practical approach, operationalized by the expository, interrogative, case study and simulation methods. The active participation of the students is favored through the constant interaction between teacher and student, with the aim of creating moments of reflection based on the practical experience of each one. The evaluation is done through two frequencies with a 50% ponderation each.
- To apply in clinical context the techniques of acupuncture, moxibustion, suction cups, electroacupuncture, Chinese manual therapy, energetic exercises, auriculoterapia, foot reflexology, cranial acupuncture, Tan and Tung balance methods, manual pediatric therapy, dietetics and Chinese herbal medicine;
- Demonstrate clinical reasoning and delineate treatment plans using all acupuncture techniques;
- To select the acupuncture technique and acupuncture aids best suited to the patient's health situation;
- Intervene in musculoskeletal and rheumatic, gynecological, urological, otorhinolaryngological, pediatric, gastrointestinal, oncological, dermatological, cardiopneumological, neurological and mental health pathologies;
- To relate the knowledge of pathology, anatomy, nutrition, imaging, clinical analysis, pharmacology and psychology with clinical practice.
Sim
This is the final stage aimed at improving clinical reasoning and the application of treatment plans within the scope of Acupuncture. The student applies the contents taught throughout the course, seeking to integrate the knowledge in order to demonstrate specific competences of acupuncture practice. The student adequately records the evolution of the patient's clinical status and complies with all the rules of ethics, deontology, hygiene and safety in clinical practice. This stage should contribute to the development of professional skills and a good integration into active professional life. You should always work in an attitude of openness, doubt and multidisciplinary teamwork It should mobilize cooping strategies to work with a considerable degree of autonomy, sense of responsibility, ethics and professional deontology, weighting and clinical decision making adjusted to each situation, contributing to the affirmation and image of the Acupuntor profession.
