This acquisition is supervised by school teachers, which ensures the proper functioning of this process, contributing to a good relationship advisor-student. The student must perform a final report of reflective character stage and a case study, assessed by the teacher responsible for the course. The final score results from the following weighted arithmetic mean: Stage note 70% and 30% internship report.

Stage IV is a cumulative stage aimed at the development of clinical reasoning and the design of a treatment plan using acupuncture techniques and auxiliary acupuncture techniques, namely energetic massage and digitopuncture, energetic exercises, manual therapy – Tui Nà. It is expected that the student will intervene essentially in gastrointestinal, gynecological and urological pathologies. It is also expected that the student adequately records the evolution of the patient's clinical status and complies with all ethical, deontological, hygiene and safety rules in clinical practice. In this way, the curricular unit will cover most of the content taught in the preceding curricular units, especially in acupuncture I and acupuncture II specialties.
