The teaching methodology is practical in a real work environment, with supervision of mentor. The evaluation will be performed by the Supervisor, in accordance with constant evaluation grid of a learning agreement made at the beginning of the course, which will be expressed training needs in the area where the team learning and proposed processes to obtain them. This acquisition is supervised by school teachers, which ensures the proper functioning of this process, contributing to a good relationship advisor-student. The student must perform a final report of reflective character stage and a case study, assessed by the teacher responsible for the course. The final score results from the following weighted arithmetic mean: Stage note 70% and 30% internship report.

Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

To aply acupuncture techniques and auxiliary acupuncture techniques - moxibustion, suction cups, electroacupuncture, Chinese manual therapy, energetic exercises, auriculotherapy, and Tan and Tung balance methods.
Develop clinical thinking by discussing real cases and outlining treatment plans using acupuncture techniques and auxiliary acupuncture techniques such as energetic massage and digitopuncture and energy exercises.
Mainly intervene in gastrointestinal, urological, gynecological and pediatric disorders using acupuncture techniques, energetic massage and digitopuncture and energetic exercises.
Demonstrate behavior based on practice standards and ethical and deontological principles of the profession, respecting the rules of hygiene and safety in clinical practice.
Demonstrate clinical reasoning and delineate treatment plans using all acupuncture techniques and ancillary techniques.
Select the acupuncture technique and the most appropriate acupuncture technique according to the condition and state of health of the user.
To intervene in musculoskeletal and rheumatic, gynecological, urological, gastrointestinal, dermatological, neurological and mental health pathologies using acupuncture techniques and auxiliary acupuncture techniques.
To relate the knowledge of pathology, anatomy, nutrition, imaging, clinical analysis, pharmacology and psychology to clinical practice.

Stage IV is a cumulative stage aimed at the development of clinical reasoning and the design of a treatment plan using acupuncture techniques and auxiliary acupuncture techniques, namely energetic massage and digitopuncture, energetic exercises, manual therapy – Tui Nà. It is expected that the student will intervene essentially in gastrointestinal, gynecological and urological pathologies. It is also expected that the student adequately records the evolution of the patient's clinical status and complies with all ethical, deontological, hygiene and safety rules in clinical practice. In this way, the curricular unit will cover most of the content taught in the preceding curricular units, especially in acupuncture I and acupuncture II specialties.
