The teaching methodology is practical in a real work environment, with supervision of mentor. The evaluation will be performed by the supervisor, in accordance with constant evaluation grid of learning agreement made at the beginning of the course, which will be expressed training needs in the area where the team learning and proposed processes to obtain them. This acquisition is supervised by school teachers, which ensures the proper functioning of this process, contributing to a good relationship advisor-student. The students must perform a final report of reflective character stage and case study, assessed by teacher responsible for the course. The final score results from the following weighted arithmetic mean: Stage note 70% and 30% internship report.
Apply in a clinical context the acupuncture and auxiliary techniques, namely energetic massage and digitopuncture, energetic exercises and reflexology;
Develop clinical reasoning through case discussion and outline treatment plans using acupuncture techniques;
Intervene mainly in musculoskeletal, rheumatic and psychiatric disorders;
Intervene in cases of acute pain, chronic pain, depressive and anxious pictures with the use of energetic massage and digitopuncture, energetic exercises and reflexology as a form of treatment;
To relate the knowledge of pathology, anatomy, nutrition, imaging and clinical analysis with clinical practice.
Demonstrate appropriate behaviour based on practise standards and the ethical and deontological principles of the profession, respecting the rules of hygiene and safety in clinical practice.

Stage III is a cumulative stage aimed at the development of clinical reasoning and design of a treatment plan that favours the use of energetic massage and digitopuncture, energetic exercises and reflexology (auriculotherapy) as a form of treatment. It is expected that the student will intervene essentially in musculoskeletal, rheumatic and psychiatric disorders. It also expected that the student adequately records the evolution of patient’s clinical status and complies with al ethical, deontological, hygiene and safety rules in clinical practice.
This curricular unit should cover most of contents taught in the previous curricular units, especially in therapeutic methods of acupuncture I and acupuncture in specialities II.
