The teaching methodologies used in the Hygiene and Safety curricular unit in clinical practice are of an expository and participatory nature using the demonstration, giving rise to debates on the topics presented, discussion of cases, elaboration of work and problem-solving tasks in the classroom of class. The evaluation will consist of a 100% frequency, whose formula will consist of a theoretical component with a weighting of 60% and individual work component of 40% (to be delivered on the day of the frequency).
It is expected that the student acquire basic knowledge about in the labor framework and legislation on OSH, as well as knowing your subject matter. The student must evaluate and identify occupational hazards in the workplace. The student must also understand the principles of a culture of prevention, developing safe behavior on safety, hygiene and health at work, the student should know name preventive measures and ways of implementation in the work place, as well as identify causes and consequences accidents at work and occupational diseases.
