Expository and problem-based learning methodologies will be used, with a focus on learning outcomes. Group and individual dynamics for the development of ethical and bioethical sensitivity skills. Group work favoring discussion and ethical dialogue. Continuous assessment = Group Work + Presentation (60%) and Midterm exam (40%). Assessment by Exam = Theoretical Examination (100%). The work should demonstrate the knowledge and ethical and bioethical skills acquired applied to Osteopathy. Students must present a work indicating the topic they intend to develop related to the objectives for Sustainable Development - AGENDA 2030 (ODS), as well as the constitution of the Working Group and the Work Organization strategies. After the reflection and choice of the theme, they have to deliver the project with the justification of the options taken based on the contents of the UC Ethics, Deontology and Legislation, based on a critical reflection on ethics, bioethics and legislation. Peer feedback methodology will be promoted, in identifying the contributions of the group elements to the learning outcomes.

Identify the bioethical and deontological dimensions in professional practice;
Identify the essential concepts inherent to ethical and deontological behavior;
Reflect on the ethical evaluation of the decision-making process;
Justify the importance of ethical decisions in specific situations in different health care contexts;
Reflect on the main ethical conflicts/dilemmas inherent to health;
Adequately address ethical issues that may compromise the security, privacy or dignity of the client;
Recognize the rights and duties of the patient;
Demonstrate knowledge about the objectives of deontology legal rules and norms, moral and ethical values that regulate the attitude;
before the patient, colleagues and before the general laws of citizenship and specific to the profession;
Demonstrate decision-making ability after weighing ethical values;
Demonstrate the acquisition of knowledge about the Osteopath's code of conduct.
