Métodos de ensino

The curricular unit is semester and consists of theoretical and theoretical-practical classes. The methodologies used will be expositive and active, referring to the identification of ergonomic risk situations and the adoption of safety behaviors at clinical practice. The final classification is to be determined with a work on the ergonomic optimization of a workplace (group): 100%.

Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

- Acquire concepts of ergonomics and adapt them to the evaluation and intervention of the Osteopath, as well as for use in the body dynamics as a professional;
- Framing the Ergonomics in the labor context, presenting the scientific basis and branches of knowledge on which it is based;
- To characterize the ergonomic approach of professional-workplace systems, identifying their essential aspects (interface, work space, workload and respective physiological, biomechanical, psycho-physical and psychological requirements);
- Identify situations of occupational risk, develop and teach ergonomic optimization strategies;
- Identify the role of Occupational Medicine in the context of Occupational Safety and Health;
- To make known measures of Prevention of Occupational Diseases.
