Métodos de ensino

The teaching methodology will be mostly theorical since the concepts will be exposed to the students. The resolution and discussion of practical cases in class context is also extremely important for the consolidation of contents. These exercises will be done theorical- practical classes. The assessment of knowledge will be carried out in two distinct moments, in the middle and at the end of the course, through 2 frequencies with equal weight in the final grade of the curricular unit. After that, the points that, were most critical in an attitude of formative evaluation will be discussed in a group.


Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

To know the physiopathology digestive, urinary, male and female reproductive, according to the foundations of TCM and integrated in modern scientific knowledge;
To know the etiology and treatments of the most common gastroenterological, urological and gynecological pathological changes;
To Relate the age of the women to the most common pathologies and gynecological syndromes;
To know the physiology of the menstrual cycle, the most common changes and the consequences of the same for the womans’s health;
To solve clinical cases by delineating a treatment plain in the most common gastroenterological, urological and gynecological changes.

The physiology of the gastrointestinal, urinary, dermatology and gynecological system according to the fundamentals of acupuncture and the integration in the concepts of modern Western physiology and pathophysiology;
Diagnostic methods in gynecology and their particularities;
Etiology and treatment of abdominal pain, diarrhea, Erythema, atopic eczema, fungal infections, indigestion, vomiting, Gastritis, Peptic ulcer, Dyspepsia, Esophageal reflux, Nausea and vomiting, Enteritis, Irritable bowel syndrome, Constipation, Hemorrhoids, Cystitis, Nephritis, Prostatitis, Urethritis, Polyuria, Oliguria and anuria, Incontinence, Renal Lithiasis, Renal insufficiency, Bladder prolapse, Impotence, Amenorrhea, Endometriosis, Fertility/infertility, Pregnancy, Menopause, Uterine prolapse;
Resolution of practical cases of gastroenterology, urology, dermatology and gynecology.
