Métodos de ensino

The teaching methods are based on a theoretical and theoretical-practical approach, building a basic framework, either through exposure or research and synthesis. These approaches will be complemented, in an application perspective, in tutorial guidance by applying the PBL method (Problem Based Learning) standardized to teachers and students by a provided guide. Skills development will be enhanced by submitting written and oral strategies. Public defense of the research project to a jury.


Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

  • Know the steps of the investigation process;
  • Analyze the different types of investigation, their purposes, procedures, advantages and limitations;
  • Understand the tools and methods to develop scientific studies;
  • To value the complementarity of qualitative, quantitative and participatory approaches in scientific research;
  • Support decision making on the best scientific evidence;
  • Presents a research project;
  • Demonstrates knowledge about the stages of the research process, types of study and research methodologies;
  • Critically evaluates scientific articles in physical therapy;
  • Structure the research project centered on the formulated problem, respecting all its stages;
  • Plan the conceptual and methodological phase of the investigation;
  • Justifies the options adopted at each stage of the investigation process;
  • Defines strategies for building a group research project proposal
