Métodos de ensino

Expository and interactive methodology in the development of theoretical classes. Demonstrative and interactive methodology in theoretical-practical classes, where students in groups will develop an intervention project in the field of physical therapy in sport. In seminar typology classes, experts will be invited to share experiences and deepen knowledge.


Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

  • Design intervention plans for the prevention of sports injuries and for the acute phases of injury or sudden illness;
  • Build exercise and self-management plans throughout the rehabilitation process;
  • Identify the role of the Physiotherapist in sport;
  • Describe the main types of sports injury mechanisms;
  • Apply evaluation systems according to the clinical condition;
  • Apply intervention plans for disabilities associated with sports practice;
  • Apply functional bandages in the context of sports injuries;
  • Implement dysfunction prevention programs in different populations and contexts of sports practice;
  • Develop strategies for a safe return to sports activity;
