Métodos de ensino

Expository and interactive methodology in the development of theoretical classes. Demonstrative and interactive methodology in theoretical-practical classes, where students in groups will develop an intervention project in the area of physiotherapy in Occupational Health. In seminar typology classes, experts will be invited to share experiences and deepen knowledge.


Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

  • Define and contextualize Physiotherapy in Occupational Health in different contexts;
  • Identify the role of the Physiotherapist in Occupational Health;
  • Design intervention plans for Occupational Health in different types of population throughout the life cycle;
  • Build intervention and self-management plans throughout the rehabilitation process;
  • Describe the main types of risk mechanisms in Occupational Health;
  • Structure and apply evaluation systems according to the clinical condition;
  • Structuring and implementing intervention plans for disabilities associated with Occupational Health;
  • Planning and implementation of dysfunction prevention programs in different populations and contexts of Occupational Health;
  • Develop skills in critical thinking and problem solving, as well as communication, collaborative, adaptation and resilience skills, as well as in terms of initiative and creativity;
