Expositive and interactive methodology in theoretical classes. Demonstrative and interactive in the theoretical-practical
typology for problem solving, discussion of evaluation plans, intervention, problem solving and clinical case analysis.
Use of the e-learning platform for guided study, discussion and reflection. Continuous evaluation = Frequency (50%) +
Frequency (50%). Students can opt for a final exam.

Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

Develop knowledge to identify the pathology and pathophysiology of musculoskeletal dysfunctions;
Develop contextualization for evaluative approaches in the management of musculoskeletal dysfunction for an
evidence-based practice;
Improve the dexterity of clinical reasoning and critical analysis in the field of physiotherapy of musculoskeletal
conditions.
Understand and interpret from the physiotherapist's point of view the complementary diagnostic tests related to the
different musculoskeletal conditions.
Understand the pathological condition by critical reflection on case studies.
