Expositive and interactive methodology in theoretical classes. Demonstrative and interactive in the theoretical-practical typology, in practices and laboratories for the development of experimental skills by problem solving and for understanding will be applied through educational planning based on significant learning scenarios (simulation).
Experts will be invited in the seminars: Order of Physiotherapists, scientific databases, scientific writing and also representatives of supporting products. In the tutorial orientation classes, it is intended to promote the discussion and development of critical-reflexive capacity through debate and confrontation of ideas, through collaborative action between students and teachers. For the evaluation, peer feedback will be used. Continuous evaluation = Frequency (50%) + Group work (25%) + Practical test (25%). Students can choose for a final exam.
Develop knowledge about the study of the origin and legal framework of the profession at national and international level;
Define evidence-based science applied to physiotherapy with an introduction to research methodologies and exploration of knowledge of good physiotherapy practices, as well as the preparation of works and reports with scientific standards (according to the rules of ESSNorteCVP)
Promote knowledge about special populations with modified mobility/total dependence on basic and instrumental activities of daily living;
Promote the manipulation and reasoning underlying the use of support products used in physiotherapy to adapt, facilitate or promote the safe re-education of special people with modified mobility/total dependence;
Training for the prevention and control of infections associated with health care in physiotherapy with quality practices in touch and communication in care delivery;
Train for methods of handling people with modified mobility/total dependence with principles of ergonomics and safety in occupational health with and without support products;
Train for the application of orthoses, prostheses and simple containment bandages.
