Multimethods are used, alternating expository method with interrogative and critical in the theoretical sessions, and
participative / interactive in the theoretical-practical sessions. In practical sessions, the simulation method is used,
aiming at student-centered teaching and solving practical problems in coherence with the defined educational
objectives. The theoretical-practical and practical sessions will take place, preferably in the laboratory with the use of
dummies and “standard patients” (classmates) to perform the interventions.
The curricular unit will be assessed by continuous assessment, using Evaluation form with 100% weighting for final
classification.
A practical individual assessment is recommended. In cases where activities involving more than one person (team) are
developed, the dynamics of peer feedback will be promoted, identifying the contributions of each element to individual
performance and team effectiveness.
