Métodos de ensino

Expositive and interactive methodology in the development of theoretical classes. Demonstrative and interactive methodology in theoretical-practical typology classes. And finally, more active methodologies in practical and laboratory classes for the development of experimental skills. Problem-based learning methodology and understanding education will be applied through educational planning based on meaningful learning scenarios (simulation) in laboratory practice classes. Use of the e-learning platform for guided study, discussion and reflection. For the evaluation will be used the peer feedback.


Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

  • Understand the main national and international health policies and foundations of the organization;
  • Distinguish the concepts of family, family health, community, public health, community health;
  • Analyze the health/disease concepts that influence the movement and functionality and the health determinants of the person, family, group and community;
  • Understand the intervention models and strategies in a community context, with an emphasis on protection, health promotion, social development and disease prevention programs;
  • Apply assessment tools and family intervention from models adapted to the field of physiotherapy;
  • Intervene with physiotherapy practice centered on the user/group and/or family members in all phases of the physiotherapy process involving all stakeholders in the decision-making process;
  • Understanding the health potential of the person/family/community, through the optimization of adaptive, collaborative and in network with impact on movement and functionality.

  • Function structure and family processes: Family typology, Family life cycle, normative and non-normative family transitions, Family assessment instruments;
  • Physiotherapy intervention centered on the user/group and/or family members in all phases of the physiotherapy process involving all stakholders of the decision-making process;
