Métodos de ensino

The course consists of face-to-face strategies in a collaborative model that enhance their autonomy:

  • Observation, observation-action and action methodologies;
  • Critical-reflective analysis of learning situations;
  • Problem solving in real context;
  • Literature searches;
  • Troubleshooting/tasks;


Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

  • Demonstrate the values of the profession in the performance of clinical practice;
  • Develop a reflective process of continuous learning in order to improve the processes and results of its interventions and the satisfaction of its users with effective communication strategies;
  • Assume the role of physiotherapist in the movement and function of the person in the health/disease transition process;
  • Develop a clinical reasoning process with specific knowledge, skills and attitudes that allow you to recognize patterns of function/dysfunction, functional capacity and performance, influence of contextual factors, ability to formulate diagnosis and prognosis in physical therapy, as well as results of your intervention based on scientific evidence;
  • Have the ability to communicate with other professionals and communities from different areas, aiming to promote the profession or the care of users by performing discharge notes or referrals with supervision;

  • Application of scientific, technical and relational knowledge directed to the person/family in a real context in clinical practice based on evidence;
  • Respect for ethical and ethical principles of the profession in the different contexts of professional integration;
  • Relationship and communication with the person/family and multidisciplinary team aiming at improving the results by the empowerment and motivation of the user;
  • Use of integrative evaluation methodologies of the different areas in order to intervene in the person as a whole in the production of a diagnosis and prognosis in Physiotherapy and specific intervention techniques accompanied by continuous reassessment processes aiming at monitoring and monitoring results;
  • Decision-making for physiotherapy interventions based on evidence, promoting continuity and safety of care;
  • Understanding of the different interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary structures that influence the professional context;
