Métodos de ensino

Expositive and active methods supported by audiovisual technologies. The theoretical-practical classes will be used models and anatomical charts as well as to accompany the evolution of the group work that is involved in the evaluation.

The assessment methodologies are as follows, using 5 independent Evaluation Forms (F1 through F5):

15% F1 + 15% F2 + 15% F3 + 15% F4 +15% F5 + Group Work - 25% (TG)

The group work will have a minimal grading mark of 9,5.


Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

- To understand the organic changes of digestive, immune, renal and urinary, reproductive and endocrine systems;

- To know the pathological manifestations of digestive, immune, renal and urinary, reproductive and endocrine

systems;

- To analyze the implications of the disease for the person;

- To manage human responses to the disease process;

- To mobilize integrated knowledge in the management of the disease process;

- To manage your learning project with evidence of results and critical thinking.

Programa

- Gastrointestinal system: disorders of the salivary glands, diseases of the esophagus and gastroesophageal reflux, gastritis and gastric and duodenal ulcer, hepatitis, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, celiac disease and irritable bowel syndrome, biliary lithiasis, Neoplasms;

- Immune system: anemia and its causes, thalassemias, infectious pathology; HIV/AIDS and other immunodeficiencies; myeloproliferative diseases, myelodysplastic syndromes, lymphomas and leukemias;

-  Renal and urinary system: renal lithiasis, acute and chronic renal failure, nephritic and nephrotic syndromes, infectious disease, neoplasms;

- Reproductive system: infertility, ovarian syndromes, dysfunction of the myometrium and endometrium, endometriosis, sexually transmitted diseases, prostatic hyperplasia, varicocele and hydrocele, neoplasms;

- Endocrine system: hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunctions, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, thyroiditis, endocrine pancreas disorders, diabetes, adrenal disorders.
