Métodos de ensino

This Course is theoretical and theoretical and practical, which aims to give students thinking skills and deep knowledge of science in which the evaluation is based on osteopathy. the expository methods, questioning and analysis of case studies to better assimilation of the contents worked will be used. The final score results from the mark obtained in two written tests of knowledge assessment made throughout the semester and the presentation of a group work. Written tests (30% + 30%) and 40% group work, in each moment o evaluation the student has to achieve a minimum of 9,5 values at each one.


Objetivos de Unidade Curricular

Know and use the main global assessment tests in osteopathy;

Mastering the theoretical and theoretical and practical concepts of anatomy, biomechanics, medical pathology, pathology osteopathic and osteopathic diagnosis related to osteopathic intervention in the pelvis and lower limb.

Integrate the principles of assessment and osteopathic diagnosis addressed in osteopathic thinking and clinical decision making.

Overall assessment tests in osteopathy;
Structural Osteopathy - pelvic girdle: Anatomy (including palpatory anatomy);
Biomechanics / physiology articulate; medical condition (including semiotics);
Differential diagnosis (including complementary diagnostic tests);
Osteopathic pathology / somatic disorders; osteopathic diagnosis;
structural osteopathy - lower limb: hip, knee, ankle and foot;
Anatomy (including palpatory anatomy); Biomechanics / physiology articulate; medical condition (including semiotics);
Differential diagnosis (including complementary diagnostic tests);
Osteopathic pathology / somatic disorders; osteopathic diagnosis;
Integration of likely outcomes in osteopathic clinical reasoning.
