This Curricular Unit will be developed within the scope of laboratory practice, aiming to give students reasoning skills and deep knowledge of the topics covered. Expository, case study and simulation methods will be used to better consolidate knowledge and practices. The final classification of the Curricular Unit results from the grade obtained through a practical assessment in the form of continuous evaluation (100%).
- Understand and apply the concepts and principles of osteopathic theories, understanding the fundamentals of clinical reasoning based on osteopathic models of the interrelationship between the structure and function;
- Use and understand general concepts of assessment and reasoning in Osteopathy, with emphasis on global osteopathic assessment tests;
- Identify and apply the principles of osteopathic treatment and the different techniques used in osteopathy.
