This curricular unit is theoretical and theoretical-practical, aiming to give students the skills of reasoning and deep knowledge of science associated with the fascial manipulation integrated into the global concept of osteopathy; It also addresses the demonstration and simulation practice component. The expository, interrogative, and demonstrative methods will be used, as well as the analysis of case studies to better assimilate the contents. The final classification of the course results from the grade obtained in a written test of knowledge evaluation carried out at the end of the semester: written test 100%.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the fascial system;
- Demonstrate practical ability to locate and palpate the major fascial structures;
- To integrate the manipulation of the fascia in the global knowledge of osteopathy.
Nao
- Historical basis for fascial manipulation;
- Scientific basis for fascial manipulation;
- Theories and systems of fascialmanipulation;
- Evaluation and treatment of the fascial system included in an osteopathic treatment.
