The course is semi-annual and consists of lectures, theoretical-practical. In theoretical and theoretical practical the expository and interrogative methods will be used, promoting discussion and clarification of concepts. In the hours of tutorials will be privileged reflective analysis before the reality of the osteopathic profession in the current context and in its historical perspective. The evaluation result from the completion and presentation of a working group on one of the themes addressed in lectures and theoretical-practical and consummated during the tutorial. The final score results from the group work 100%.

˗ Identify key skills and Osteopath intervention areas;
˗ Meet the standards of practice and the principles of conduct of essential Osteopath, including the ethical and deontological

˗ Know the laws governing professional practice; Understand the concepts of health and disease;
˗ Identify the key players of the National Health System, models and national and international health
˗ policies.
˗ Recognize Osteopathy professional organizations at national and international level;
˗ Adopt a reflective attitude towards the role of osteopathy and Osteopath.
